My name is Kami

Let's get to know each other

I'm overwhelmed with excitement that you've made it to my page! Welcome! As it says in the header, my name is Kami! I am a 27 year old girl from Texas. I live my life along side my husband, Hunter and our 2 pets, Phoebe and Olivia. I have always loved telling stories. For most of my life, I have lived in dreams that I've made up in my head. Photography happened to be the avenue for which I could bring those dreams to life.

My inspiration

I am inspired by the in-between moments.  The soft smiles that are exchanged in the morning and the 'I love you's" before walking out the door. I'm inspired by the light that slowly starts to break the skyline or the swell before the crash of the waves.  I am inspired by the fog hanging in the air on a rainy day. I am inspired by the longing and desire of lovers after being apart. I am inspired by the passage of time and how we choose to remember life and each other. I hope to capture the little things that are victims to time. Through my work, I strive to capture the fleeting. The small moments that often slip past unnoticed, yet shape us the most.

With each image, I hope to awaken a forgotten feeling. To hold space for what is quiet, tender, and true.
